Torrey Johnson

Background

Torrey joined Abundance in 2021 and graduated from South Hills School of Business & Technology in 2017. Prior to joining Abundance, she worked in real estate as the Marketing Coordinator and then Finance Manager at RE/MAX Centre Realty. She later became the Marketing Specialist for Motto Mortgage Happy Valley (NMLS #1928217) and is excited to continue being part of that team today. Torrey has enjoyed meeting and getting to know interns at Abundance and looks forward to seeing the program continue to grow and evolve. 

Outside of work, Torrey loves spending time with her family. She has three nephews and especially enjoys cheering on her two oldest nephews at their sporting events. She also loves going on adventures with her beloved (and very spoiled) chihuahua, Brewser.

What does being a catalyst mean to Torrey?

“Being a catalyst means being willing to push yourself beyond what you thought was possible. The catalysts I’ve seen at Abundance step into real organizational challenges and work to create solutions that no one (even them) initially imagined were possible. They dive into problems with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help, using research and creative thinking to advance ideas.

What excites me most is their mindset. Instead of feeling discouraged by roadblocks or dead ends, they become even more motivated and energized to find a way through. That drive, resilience, and willingness to help and solve issues are what I’m most looking forward to seeing in this group of catalysts through the Abundance Experience. I’m truly honored and excited to be part of it as a mentor.”
