The Abundance Experience is an elite, invitation-only leadership and innovation program designed for students who want to grow through meaningful work, executive mentorship, collaboration, and real-world business challenges. This is not a traditional internship built around repetitive tasks or observation. Participants actively contribute to initiatives that matter.

We look for students who are intellectually curious, proactive, coachable, comfortable with ambiguity, motivated to grow, and excited about using AI as a tool for learning and problem-solving. Students who thrive here tend to enjoy meaningful challenges and continuous improvement.

No. The Experience is intentionally designed to be more immersive, developmental, and challenging than a typical internship. Students are expected to think critically, take initiative, collaborate, and grow throughout the program.

Participants will contribute to executive-sponsored projects involving innovation, problem-solving, business strategy, operations, AI-assisted workflows, research, process improvement, communication, and other meaningful initiatives that support the firm’s mission.

Participants will work closely with another student throughout the Experience, along with mentors, project leaders, and members of the Abundance team. Collaboration, communication, and teamwork are important parts of the program.

The Experience is primarily on-site at Abundance Wealth Counselors headquarters in State College, Pennsylvania.

Participants should expect approximately 20 - 30 hours per week. Time includes structured sessions, project work, mentorship, collaboration, and independent learning.
